Dear Friends,
This Sunday the title of my message is, “Where Does Sickness Come From?”…does God use sickness to teach us to be like Jesus…or is sickness from the devil?
Your answer to this question has huge ramifications…how can you pray for someone to be healed if it God’s will that they are sick? How can you know if it is God or the devil that is making them sick? And…what does it say about a God who inflicts sickness on his children…where’s the love in that?
Jesus said when I return, will I find faith on the earth? That was his only real concern…that we would be a people that are walking, not by sight, but by faith. Most of the teaching today about miracles and healings in the church is not based on faith, but on unbelief…it requires faith to believe all sickness can be healed…it requires no faith to believe that sickness comes from God and if he wants me healed, he will heal me if he wants to.
Please come on Sunday open to hearing what the Word of God teaches about sickness and healing…not what your experience has been or what you see happening around you.
I anticipate that I will need 2 weeks to adequately address this topic.
