The week of March 8th is Winter Olympic Week for VCS.  During lunch recess we will be having some unique competitions.  Students will be given an opportunity to challenge their peers in a variety of ways, and prizes will be awarded.  On Friday, March 12th we will be having a special chapel in the sanctuary with a family that travels around doing a ‘Christian Illusion Show.’  Parents are welcome to join us!  Loveline spaces in the yearbook are still available.  If you would like to send an encouraging message to your child as a permanent memory in the yearbook, or if you would like to advertise your business in the yearbook, fill out the form that was sent home (or stop in the school office) and reserve your space now. 

VCS needs parent volunteers for the Hawaiian Hoedown on Friday, May 21st.  If you can donate one hour to that evening’s activities, please sign-up in the school office or let your child’s teacher know.  This will be an all school event and every student will be participating.  It is an evening of food, entertainment, and fun for the entire family (you can even bring your friends)!  Yeah! for reenrollment for next year!  Be sure and fill out your paperwork and take advantage of the lower registration prices if you register early.   Basketball club ends in a few weeks…watch for information on our staff vs. student game to come home soon.
