Vista Christian School Scholarship Fund

Each year, families and children from our community come to know Christ through the avenue of our church’s school.
We would like to maintain or increase our help to needy families by creating a scholarship fund that would help subsidize faithful families who are struggling because of family difficulties or economics.
If you are able to contribute, Vista Christian School is looking for people who want to invest in ministry to children by donating to a scholarship fund.
If you can bless children in this way, you can give by marking an offering envelope, or call and talk to Mrs. Nash or Alisha in the school office at
724-7353. |
3rd Service Coordinator Needed for the Nursery!

| We are looking for a 3rd Service Coordinator for children ages 0 - 2 1/2. If you have a love for little children and for teaching them about the Lord, this may be the ministry for you. Please contact Dee Dee Wills at 760.300.7958 if you are interested in the position or

Church Board Nominations
|
We are now accepting your nominations for the Board election in February.
Two Board members will be stepping down and we will be electing two new
members. Qualifications include membership to the church and spiritual maturity. Submit your nominations in the offering, church drop slot in the lobby or send into the church office. Both men and women are eligible. |
| Gloria California is Back! - November 21 |
| If you enjoyed the last Gloria California concert we had or at least heard how
awesome it was, be sure to go to her next concert. Gloria California’s next concert will be Friday, November 21st at 6pm at Boomers Vista. This will be an outside concert,
admission is free, and attractions will be sold at a discounted price. So be sure to bring
kids of all ages. |
| Primetimers Potluck - November 22 |
On Saturday, November 22nd, everyone 55 and older are invited to attend the monthly
pot-luck in the Fireside Room at 4:00 pm. Brad and Debbie Griswold and family will be cooking a Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner for the seniors. If you are a Primetimer, you don't want to miss this special dinner. Please contact Neal or Suzi Ferris at 757-1331

| Youth Convention - November 28-30
|
Convention this year will be held November 28-30 and the cost is $220. Music artist are Switchfoot, Jeff Deyo, and d NO LATER than October 29th. You can help fundraise for this event by purchasing candy outside for only $1.00.
